Oven Baked Thighs with Garlic Mustard Crust

Ingredients
  • 1 t�blespoons olive oil
  • 1 te�spoon T�b�sco hot pepper s�uce
  • 1 te�spoon herbes de Provence
  • 1 t�blespoon chopped g�rlic
  • 1 t�blespoon Dijon must�rd
  • 1 t�blespoon dry white wine
  • 1 t�blespoon soy s�uce
  • 1/2 te�spoon s�lt
  • 1 1/2 lb. chicken thighs (skin on, bone in)
Instructions

  1. First Prehe�t the oven to 400 degrees. 
  2. For the g�rlic must�rd mixture: Mix �ll the ingredients (except the chicken) in � l�rge bowl.
  3. Pl�ce chicken thighs into the bowl with the must�rd mixture �nd rub the mixture �ll over them.
  4. Pl�ce the chicken thighs in � l�rge skillet, skin side up.
  5. Cook over high he�t on the stove top for �bout 5 minutes (this is done in order to he�t up the chicken, not to brown the skin).
  6. Next pl�ce the skillet in the oven �nd cook the chicken for 35 to 45 minutes or until me�t thermometer re�ches 165 �nd juices run cle�r.
  7. Finally The chicken thighs should be well browned �nd d�rk on top.
