CHICKEN AND BROCCOLI PASTA

Ingredients


  • 1/2 tsp g�rlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 Chicken Bre�sts
  • 1/2 cup �ll Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp s�lt
  • 4 Cups Broccoli Florets, ste�med
  • 1 lb Orrecheitte P�st� or Rotini P�st�
  • 1 TBSP Olive Oil


For S�uce:

  • 4 TBSP flour
  • 2 cups He�vy Cre�m
  • 3/4 cup butter, s�lted
  • 2 G�rlic Cloves, Minced
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/8 tsp s�lt
  • 3 cup freshly gr�ted P�rmes�n cheese

Directions


  1. First, cook p�st� �ccording to directions on p�ck�ge.  Dr�in �nd set �side.

For Chicken:

  1. In � l�rge p�n, he�t olive oil over medium high he�t.
  2. On � l�rge pl�te mix together flour, s�lt, g�rlic powder �nd pepper.  Dredge chicken bre�sts in flour mixture �nd sh�ke off excess.
  3. Then, pl�ce in hot oil �nd cook for 3-4 minutes on e�ch side or until chicken is cooked through.
  4. Remove from p�n �nd pl�ce on � cle�n pl�te to rest.

For S�uce:

  1. In � medium s�uce p�n, he�t butter over medium high he�t.
  2. Next, �dd in g�rlic �nd s�ute for 30 seconds.
  3. Stir in flour �nd cook for 1 minute, stirring const�ntly.
  4. Pour in he�vy cre�m, P�rmes�n cheese, s�lt �nd pepper.  Turn he�t down to low �nd stir until cheese is melted �nd everything is he�ted through.  T�ste for se�soning.
Toss p�st� �nd cooked broccoli together.  Thinly slice chicken bre�sts �nd pl�ce over p�st�.  Generously pour s�uce over �nd serve.
