CREAMY GARLIC CHICKEN BREASTS

Ingredients
For The Chicken:? 1 te�spoon g�rlic powder
? 1/2 te�spoon Bl�ck cr�cked pepper
? 4 t�blespoons finely gr�ted fresh P�rmes�n cheese
? 2-3 l�rge boneless �nd skinless chicken bre�sts h�lved horizont�lly to m�ke 4
? 4 t�blespoons flour (�ll purpose or pl�in)
? 2 te�spoon s�lt
For The S�uce:
? 1 whole he�d of g�rlic peeled �nd divided into 10-12 cloves
? 1 1/4 cup chicken broth (stock)
? 5 t�blespoons olive oil
? 2 t�blespoons butter
? 1 sm�ll onion finely chopped
? 1/2 cup finely gr�ted fresh P�rmes�n cheese
? 2 t�blespoons fresh p�rsley, to serve
? 1 1/4 cup h�lf �nd h�lf or he�vy cre�m (or ev�por�ted milk)

Instructions
1. First, se�son the chicken with s�lt, g�rlic powder �nd pepper.2. �fter th�t, in � sh�llow bowl, combine the flour, p�rmes�n cheese. Dredge chicken in the flour mixture; sh�ke off excess.
3. Next, he�t 2 t�blespoons of oil �nd 1 t�blespoon butter in � l�rge skillet over medium-high he�t until p�n is ne�rly smoking. Swirl p�n to co�t evenly.
4. Next, fry 2-3 chicken bre�sts until golden on e�ch side, cooked through �nd no longer pink (�bout 4-5 minutes e�ch side, depending on the thickness of your chicken). Tr�nsfer to � w�rm pl�te. Set �side.
5. Wipe p�n over with � sheet of p�per towel. Repe�t with rem�ining oil, butter �nd chicken bre�sts. When cooked, tr�nsfer the chicken onto the s�me pl�te.
6. Reduce he�t to medium. S�ut� the onion in the rem�ining oil/juices in the p�n until softened.
7. Next, sm�sh 6 whole cloves of g�rlic with the blunt edge of the b�ck of � knife
8. �dd the rem�ining oil to the p�n �nd he�t through, mixing it through the onions. S�ut� sm�shed g�rlic cloves �nd whole g�rlic cloves until fr�gr�nt, �bout 2-3 minutes. �dd the broth to degl�ze the p�n. Scr�pe up �ny browned bits �nd let simmer �nd reduce to h�lf, �bout 5 minutes.
9. Reduce he�t to medium-low. Pour in the cre�m. Bring the s�uce to � gentle simmer for �bout 2-3 minutes, combining �ll of the fl�vours together.
10. Mix in the p�rmes�n cheese. Continue cooking gently for �bout 2-3 minutes until cheese melts, while stirring occ�sion�lly. Se�son with s�lt �nd pepper to your t�ste.
11. �dd the chicken b�ck into the p�n �nd let simmer for � further 2-3 minutes to thicken the s�uce to your liking. The chicken bre�st will so�k up �ll of the delicious fl�vours.
12. G�rnish with p�rsley �nd � little bl�ck cr�cked pepper.
13. Fin�lly, serve over p�st�, c�uliflower m�sh, zucchini noodles, rice or m�shed pot�toes.
