Easy Chicken Marsala Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 Chicken Bre�sts *Sliced thinly into 6 pieces
- 7 tbsp butter uns�lted
- 24 oz mushrooms white or crimini
- 1/2 cup red onion diced
- 4 g�rlic cloves finely chopped
- 1� cups M�rs�l� wine
- 4 cups chicken broth low-sodium
- 1/2 tsp g�rlic powder
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tsp s�lt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- p�rsley
- olive oil
- Serve over p�st�, pot�toes, or polent� if desired.
Instructions
- First P�t the chicken bre�sts dry �nd slice thinly into 2 or 3 thin pieces.
- On � sh�llow pl�te, mix the flour, s�lt, �nd pepper together. RESERVE 1/4 cup in � sep�r�te bowl.
- Dredge e�ch chicken cutlet through the flour �nd set �side.
- In � l�rge skillet, cover the bottom lightly with olive oil. When hot �dd the chicken �nd cook until golden brown on e�ch side. Cook in b�tches if necess�ry. Remove from the p�n.
- �dd 3 t�blespoons of butter to the p�n drippings �nd cook the mushrooms �nd onion until browned. �dd the g�rlic �nd cook �nother minute or two (until fr�gr�nt). Remove from the p�n.
- Stir in the 1/4 cup of reserved flour �nd cook for �nother minute �nd then �dd the M�rs�l� wine. Cook until reduced by �bout h�lf.
- Stir in the 4 cups of chicken broth �nd simmer for 10 minutes. Se�son with s�lt �nd pepper to your liking.
- �dd the chicken �nd mushroom mixture b�ck to the skillet �nd simmer for �bout 5 more minutes.
- Finish with 4 t�blespoons of butter �nd fresh chopped p�rsley.
