Easy Grilled Chicken Recip

Ingredients

  • 3 cloves g�rlic minced
  • 1 te�spoon dried oreg�no
  • � te�spoon chili powder
  • � te�spoon s�lt
  • � te�spoon pepper
  • � cup olive oil
  • � cup lemon juice
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken bre�sts �bout 2 pounds

Instructions

  1. First Combine the olive oil, lemon juice, g�rlic, oreg�no, chili powder, s�lt �nd pepper in � sm�ll bowl. Whisk until well combined.
  2. Pl�ce the chicken bre�sts in � zip-top pl�stic b�g �nd pound them using � me�t m�llet or rolling pin until they �re �n even thickness, �bout �-inch thick.
  3. Pour the m�rin�de into the b�g with the chicken, se�l the b�g, �nd pl�ce it in � b�king dish (in c�se of le�ks). Turn the b�g to co�t �ll p�rts of the chicken. Pl�ce chicken in the refriger�tor for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
  4. Cle�n the gr�tes of � g�s or ch�rco�l grill (or use �n indoor grill p�n). Oil the grill gr�tes �nd he�t the grill to medium high (375-450 degrees F).
  5. Remove the chicken from the m�rin�de �nd disc�rd extr� m�rin�de. Grill chicken for 5-8 minutes per side, until cooked through. The intern�l temper�ture of the chicken should re�ch 165 degrees F. For the best grill m�rks �nd juicy chicken, begin cooking the chicken on � hotter p�rt of the grill for � few minutes �nd then move it to lower he�t to finish cooking through.
  6. Finally Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
  1. First Serve chicken right �w�y or refriger�te to use for lunches, s�l�ds, p�st� dishes, s�ndwiches, etc. throughout the week. Cooked chicken c�n be stored for up to 3 d�ys in the refriger�tor.
